LET THE PAMPERING BEGIN!
I have a few new features in the suite. One is a vent installed in the desktop of the nail table. That will pull dust, fumes and germs down away from our faces and trap them in an Activated Carbon filter. Another is a framed 16 inch x 20 inch plexiglass shield to hang from the ceiling between the client and technician. The technician will wear a mask at while working if asked. Clients are asked to please provide their own mask to enter the building if they feel ill. These safety precautions may seem over cautious, however it is better to be safe than sorry. You can never judge a book by it's cover. You never know just by looking at person what conditions they may have or be more susceptible to.
Please give us as much notice as you can but if you wake up feeling sick symptoms cancel your appointment. Other clients will appreciate it and Jenny will too since respiratory infections are always extra tough for her. Please keep in mind that we are working from appointments rather than a walk in base for your safety. Abuse of short notice cancellations has a significant impact on small appointment based businesses.
We will have these hygiene precautions in place...
Social distancing. You cannot come early to your appointment. Appointments are spaced out 15 minutes apart from one another. You must wait outside the building for your appointment.
A mask is no longer necessary to enter our building.
You may bring your own drinks. There is now a water fountain allowed in the building & vending machine & drinks provided from salon owners.
Not shaking hands or hugging. You are loved so much, however we are now making the elbow bump the cool new greeting. :)
Hand sanitizers are used at multiple locations in the suite and the building.
We have no magazines. We will miss our SRQ Magazine for now!
All techs will be washing hands between each client as always.
Constant disinfecting of all salon surfaces. SUITE NAILS is now Barbicide certified.
Staggered appointment times.
Hand washing after handling cash and cards.
We will Not have any staff in the salon that has come into contact with anyone who has been ill.
Asking clients not to come in if there is any chance that they may be ill or have come into contact with anyone who has been ill.
Ensure that all clients upon entering the salon are immediately offered hand sanitizer.
All services are started with hand washing for the client and the technician.
I hope to see you soon. I promise to keep you safe while you enjoy your services. Please stay tuned for updates by email, SuiteNailsByJC.com and facebook. Please stay well!
